FAQs

Q: Where are your products made?
A: All our products are hand made in Yallingup, Western Australia

Q: What materials are your furniture products made from?
A: Our furniture is made from sustainably sourced or recycled timber. We use veneers as much as possible as this maximises the timber from the tree and minimises movement in different conditions.  When we use MDF (medium density fibreboard) in our substrates we only use EO (the lowest VOC classification) product sourced from Australian renewable pine plantations.  Natural timbers are finished with shellac, high quality non toxic oils or water based sealers, with Australian made carnauba wax as a final coat to add lustre.

Q: Can I use your furniture outside?
A: Whilst very strong, our timber finishes and substrates are not suitable for external use, unless stated otherwise on your product label or literature.

Q: What are your furnishings made from?
A: We use 100% pure cotton.

Q: How much is shipping?
A: Shipping within Australia, to Hong Kong and the USA is free. We can ship to other countries, however we need to provide a separate shipping quote before an order is taken to include all relevant Customs and VAT costs.  The customer will be required to pay these additional shipping costs at the point of landing.  Contact us directly for a quote.

Q: What if I am not at home for my delivery?
A: If you are not at home, the driver will leave a card in your mailbox so you can pick up from the local depot/post office.  Consider entering a business address for delivery, where someone will be present during the day.

Q: Why can’t the courier just leave the delivery without a signature?
A: A signature requirement ensures that you are happy with the condition of the product.  Please check all items before signing for them.

Q: Can I return my purchase?
A: Not withstanding our compliance with Australian Consumer protection law, we will happily refund your money in full if our products do not meet your expectations within 7 days of delivery.  If the product is not faulty, and you have simply changed your mind, you will have to pay for the cost of shipping back to us.  See our Terms and Conditions for a full explanation.
